Craig J. Zoellner
Director of Financial Management
Mr. Zoellner, age 49, along with Messrs. Puchi and Arnold, created the Sponsor, Fund I and Fund II. Mr. Zoellner graduated with honors from Colorado College with a B.A. in mathematics. He then received an MBA from Stanford University. Mr. Zoellner worked for five years with Boise Cascade Corporation in the areas of strategic planning, financial analysis, acquisitions, and facilities analysis. He then worked for a financial consulting firm as Director of Investment Analysis where he was responsible for analyzing real estate and venture capital investment opportunities on behalf of the firm's client base. Mr. Zoellner's next position was Director of Corporate Development for a multi-industry holding company. He was responsible for acquisitions, budgeting and strategic planning for all business units.
In 1988, Mr. Zoellner founded BACE Industries, LLC. He later co-founded a related company, BACE Capital Partners, LLC. These entities have successfully developed national companies in different service industries by acquiring and integrating numerous small, local industry leaders. Mr. Zoellner worked with each industry group in the areas of strategic planning, systems and controls, budgeting, facilities planning, analysis, financial reporting, internal auditing, cash management, human resources, training and general infrastructure development. The end result was fully integrated national industry leaders with unique systems and service offerings relative to the typical small, local competitors.
Mr. Zoellner is focused on many of these same areas with Baceline Investments, LLC- financial analysis of potential acquisitions and of existing properties, systems and controls, investor and management reporting, budgeting, cash management, infrastructure development, training, human resource development, and internal auditing of processes and performance. He has also raised over $250 million in capital for acquisitions in his career and provides expertise in all aspects of capital structuring and a wide variety of capital markets (debt and equity).
